When someone is diagnosed with epilepsy they are given certain restrictions from their neurologist. On top of that they are told that they should try to remain calm at all times, because a lot of the time stress, anger, and even crying can trigger a seizure. Today I will give you five different ways to relax and hopefully relax you on those days when you feel like the whole world is against you.
Top 5 ways to relax:
In case you are unfamiliar with stamping it is a type of art that is taught in most high school classes. Basically, you create a design on a piece of paper. Once you have completed that you are given a rubber slate that you can carve into to make your design. It's very relaxing because you have to use a carving tool and as you continue to work on your design you will see it come to life.

2. Print making
This is also another form of art. In high school this was probably one of my favorite projects. I noticed this type of art also relaxed me on my most stressful days. Print making is an abstract type of art where you can create your own artwork and put different types of designs and patterns on to a glass slate. Once you have completed that process you then transfer it over to a special type of paper and basically plop the panted site on the paper. And then press it into the painting. The whole process of creating something unique is what makes it relaxing.

Not many people write on paper anymore but whether it's writing or typing you should get your feelings out. When I was younger I was very angry and upset a lot of the time, and would raise my voice when i talked to my dad at time. I started keeping a diary and writing about my day whether it was good or bad and I noticed a change in the way I acted. I was less angry.
Although reading can cause us to sometimes get angry when there are plot twists we don't want to occur it also relaxes the mind. Most successful novels allows our minds to enter the book and become part of it. If you ever have the chance I would suggest grabbing one from your local library or bookstore and give yourself an hour to read a few pages.
5. Doing something you love
This last tip on how to relax is probably one of my go to ones. Whenever I am stressing about school I end up going on my computer and writing codes. Not everyone will be interested in writing complex codes, but for me that's what I enjoy doing. Try and figure out was pleases you whether it's playing a sport to sitting in utter silence for a few minutes. It's all about you!
Thank you for reading this post. It means a lot knowing that my hard work is paying off and as more people continue to read my posts I will write more and more. I hope these tips have helped you out and I wish you luck on relaxing.
