I know this has nothing to do with epilepsy but it has been something that I have been noticing since I became a senior. In the beginning I was a top notch student, I stayed on class assignments, informed my teachers if I missed something or didn't understand something. In all honestly I was amazed by my determination to succeed, because freshman I didn't give a crap.
I hung around the wrong crowd and got into trouble a lot. Sometimes I would think to myself that maybe it's my fault my dad has health issues. But now that I'm older I've realized it's not my fault, if it was I'd probably would have been forced out of the house.
Back to the subject. Senioritis is a real thing and isn't just some word made up by high school seniors who were slacking in fulfilling the tasks teachers gave. Maybe it was a made up word and maybe it became so frickin awesome that the dictionary creators decided it had to be in the urban dictionary. It is considered a noun and is meant to be humorous. The definition is,"a supposed affliction of students in their final year of high school or college, characterized by a decline in motivation or performance." Sounds pretty funny to me. At my school I feel most of the teachers think, "Oh they have senioritis but I'm still going to yell at them."
Anyways where am I going with this? Oh right! Senioritis is just a definition you can do anything if you just believe. I know I winged my two tests and I winged some of my homework. So future students with epilepsy, fight that senioritis and say, "bitch you ain't coming any closer," or you can just not give a shit and pass the class with a 67 and get into an awesome college.
