It's 2017 and everything has been CRAZY! Midterms are coming up which means I have to turn in my government assignments and present my final project in college and careers. I guess a positive to 2017 is meeting an amazing guy on Coffee Meets Bagel. It's kind of funny because I told myself when I was younger, "Saaim you will never date a guy from the internet." Now here I am dating a guy for almost a month and still going strong. Honestly, I don't even know how he puts up with me
I always want to be around him and I text him constantly. He's an introvert and I'm an extrovert. I guess that's why I like him so much, opposites do attract as the saying goes.
Anyways enough about my amazing boyfriend. I am here to talk about New Year's Resolutions. Last year my resolution was to swear less and I have succeeded that goal. Now my goal is to get outdoors more. Luckily my boyfriend, I will keep his name anonymous. is into hiking and camping like me so we can get some exercise together.
I feel that no New Year's Resolution is too stupid or too ridiculous to do. It could be the smallest thing like to stop biting your lip or to floss your teeth. New Year's Resolutions are all about challenging yourself at the things you find difficult to accomplish. I know others will say, "Why do you just wait until a new year just to accomplish something?" YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY? It's because I feel that it is a competition between myself and 365 days. Like don't you think that is a bit exciting! Competing against yourself is actually very effective in accomplishing something. That is not a fact it was a matter of opinion. Oh gosh now you know who is going to read this and think "I can't believe this is what my girlfriend is thinking at 6:00pm."
It's close to the end of January so I wish you all best of luck on your resolutions and I'll try to write more even though I'm basically talking to myself since no one really views my posts. I guess it's kind of fun talking to myself over the computer but luckily I have actual people to talk to or else I might go insane. Wish me luck
